It was almost inevitable that I'm in You would be thought of as a letdown no matter now good it was. Following up to one of the biggest selling albums of the decade, Peter Frampton faced a virtually impossible task, made even more difficult by the fact that in the two years since he'd cut any new material, he had evolved musically away from some of the sounds on Frampton Comes Alive. Two of the other songs that are good were not even written by Frampton (Road Runner and Signed, Sealed, Delivered) The other good cut is called " You Don't Have to Worry". Also lacking is Frampton's guitar playing. It certainly wasn't the same quality as "Camel" or "Something Happening" He had just gotten really big, and it seems that someone advised him to to do something different than what got /5(5). Reply

The sexy boy move does much to reinforce the stereotype of Frampton as the 'dumb blond' one-hit-wonder that's been perpetuated ever since. If that weren't enough, you also have to wonder what the man was thinking in coming up with that cringing title which drew as much fire and ridicule as did the cover pose. Talk about botching your decisions/5(63). Reply
