Recorded at Strawberry Studios South. The border on the front cover is Green. The track "Feel The Benefit" contains three individual tracks, Part 1, 2 and 3 as listed on the cover, listed as recorded on centre label. Reissue with MIP prefix on Mercury / Polygram label in single (non-gatefold) cover with generic Mercury budget series inner sleeve. Original Canadian issue in gatefold cover with printed /5(11). Aug 20,  · Deceptive Bends was the beginning of the end for 10cc. The band had split into two bands: 10cc and Godley & Creme. "How Dare You" was the magnum opus, and in my view the best album that 10cc came out with, not to mention one of the best albums of a decade that was full of amazing albums. Reply

Deceptive Bends itself was also a success performing in the number countries better than the previous 10cc albums. The album was reissued and remastered on CD in with b-sides as bonus tracks. An early "Voodoo Boogie" version of "People in Love" that featured a more offbeat arrangement and prominent backing vocals by Creme, was later. Reply

About “Deceptive Bends” Deceptive Bends is the fifth studio album released in by rock band 10cc. The departure of Kevin Godley and Lol Creme in to form Godley & Creme almost ended 10cc. Reply

The only place where Deceptive Bends slips is on "Feel the Benefit," the lengthy medley that closes the album. Its excessive length and hazy lyrics make it less satisfying than the album's shorter tunes, but it is kept afloat by a catchy, mock-Spanish midsection and some lovely string arrangements. Reply
